In the first of our Designer’s Muse series, Dayana shares her personal style and inspirations. She reveals her style is always evolving and why she is our fashion-it girl.
How would you define your personal style?
My style is constantly evolving and often than not my fashion picks stem from my changing mood. Today, it’s a cool, relaxed and effortless vibe.
Could you share with us your fashion inspirations?
I would say right now some of my fashion inspirations lean towards the Goth look. I’m all about switching it up. It’s all about the unexpected.
Who is your fashion icon?
I have more than one but the one that comes to mind is Donatella Versace. Her dresses are feminine, beautiful and extenuates women’s curves.
Would you agree confidence is important in creating your own style?
Most definitely! It’s all about confidence in fashion. It’s about being your own person.
At some point, we’ve all said I would never wear again (fill in the blanks) leopard print pants. However, if we looked into your closet today we would be surprised to find the same item or something similar.
Fast forward and I’m on the hunt for a pair of leopard print pants. However, I haven’t found the right pair yet. I guess that’s why you should never say never.
